Biography & Awards
Bartosz Skłodowski is a Polish pianist and
Doctor of Musical Arts, actively leading a concert life. Despite his youth, he has already performed in many venues, such as: Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Slovenia, Morocco, China, Japan and Dubai.
His concert achievements include performances:
- at the National Philharmonic in Warsaw,
- at the Polish Baltic Philharmonic in Gdańsk,
- at the Lower Silesian Philharmonic in Jelenia Góra,
- at the Polish Philharmonic Sinfonia Baltica in Słupsk,
- at the Frederic Chopin’s Museum in Warsaw,
- at the foot of the Frederic Chopin’s Monument in Royal Łazienki Park in Warsaw,
- at the birthplace of Fryderyk Chopin in Żelazowa Wola.
The pianist performed also at the 74th and 75th Chopin Festival in Duszniki Zdrój and abroad during the Ljubljana Festival.
Bartosz Skłodowski is also successfully with orchestras, such as the
Moroccan National Symphony Orchestra in Rabat, the Taipei Symphony Orchestra (at the Zhongshan Hall in Taipei), the Jerzy Semkow Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra and many others.
Bartosz Skłodowski has also participated in a concert dedicated to the 200th anniversary of Fryderyk Chopin’s birthday symphony orchestra at the theater in Belgium.
In November 2021 he played a series of recitals as part of the representation of the National Fryderyk Chopin Institute promoting Polish culture at Expo 2020 Dubai.
His latest achievements include:
- participation in the Chopin Marathon organised by the Polish Radio Chopin at the Polish Radio’s Concert Studio S1,
- 4th Prize during the Polish Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw (December 2023).
